So, why the title Revelations? Well, simply because therein you will find revelations as to the working of several long-established Black Artefacts effects. Why would I reveal them? Because due to various reasons, such as the cost of postage, they are no longer in the catalogue. I have sometimes been asked about when I may supply these again, but as it is highly unlikely that I ever will, I thought that I’d put them into book form so you would have the chance to make your own.
Another set of revelations are for some magic effects that have long been on the market but have been given a bizarre twist by me. I pondered long about ‘exposing’ someone else’s effect but for these I concluded that, firstly the methods are well known amongst the magical fraternity, and secondly, to perform the effect as I have written, you will either already have the props or will have to buy them to do so, thereby acting as an advertisement for the effect in question. For example, if you wish to perform ‘Uncle Charles’ you will either already have purchased a ‘Psychokinetic Bolt’ or will have to do so.
