POTT is one of my favourite effects. Firstly, because it is actually the very first Bizarre effect that I created, based on a routine I saw and purchased from the late Joe Riding at the Blackpool Convention way back in 1995! Secondly because it encompasses so much of my philosophy of Bizarre Magic - it is simple to perform so you can concentrate on the presentation, there are no sleights of hand or difficult ‘moves’ and much of the handling can be done by your volunteer. My presentation and the fact that you are using Tarot cards lifts this way above an ordinary card trick.

Just try it in a candle lit room or in front of a roaring log fire one dark and windy winter’s night with a bit of Gregorian chant playing quietly in the background, and you’ll find that the effect on your audience is quite special.
